{Road Trip} Ariel, Washington

After picking Heinz up in Portland, OR (he flew in due to his work schedule) we made our way North to Ariel, Washington where Sandy and JR's wedding would be. When we arrived in Washington, I knew instantly that this would be a place I would want to come back to and really explore. It was beautiful, thick green tree's all around, rolling mountains as far as the eye could see.

The wedding venue was at Anderson Lodge, Hilltop House. It was awesome, we had the whole property to ourselves and gorgeous views all around. We spent most of our first day getting settled in, setting up the tent, hanging out, being goofballs and just soaking in the views. It was amazing.

Yeah we look a bunch of obnoxious photo's, partly because that's what we do and another part because Heinz was leaving in a few days to start his adventure in Kauai for a few months.

I think this is going to be our thing now. Piggybacks everywhere.

That first night it rained pretty good but lucky things cleared up the next day for the big event.

Happy Trekkin'!
