A few weeks ago I had the absolute pleasure of throwing a bridal shower for my best friend, Sandy in Portland, Oregon. We started the day off with meeting a group of Sandy's girlfriends at Tasty 'n' Alder for a hearty and delicious brunch. The food was served family style, so we were able to enjoy tasting several different dishes as well as chat the morning away until our next appointment.
After brunch, we headed to a few bridal dress boutiques so Sandy could try on dresses and just feel like a total princess. It was awesome seeing her in so many gorgeous gowns and seeing what dress she might potentially have as her own. This is something that I never did before I got married, so it was extra special for me to just be there and be apart of this timeless tradition.
Little favor's I put together for the girls.
What a gorgeous group of ladies!
A big thanks to one of Sandy's girlfriends, Alyson for decorating the table at brunch. Super cute and so helpful.
The bride to be.
Snack time at Fireside.

The following day Sandy and I headed to a second hand dress shop that had gorgeous designer dresses for the fraction of the price. This approach was a lot more laid back, so I was actually the one helping my girlfriend get into these dresses instead of a paid professional. We had a blast being silly and seeing what the shop had to offer.
Joking, just joking.
What a fun few day's with memories to last a lifetime. I am so happy and honored to be apart of this time in my best friends life. It's not every day you meet someone when your 4 years old and keep the friendship up for nearly 29 years. I am truly blessed and can't wait for the big day to come.
