As you can imagine, H and I ventured to many different beaches all along the island. We particularly wanted to hit up some of the beaches that we didn't have the pleasure of visiting the first time around. Anahola Beach is definitely a locals only beach and there is a vibe of friendliness but also of possession. Like, what are you guys doing here - this is "our". We didn't have the desire to swim and really hang out so we walked along the beach and explored the hills around us. On our walk we found a nice stretch of lava that we were able to walk out on pretty far.
All in all, Anahola is a pretty area but had more trash than some of the other beaches we explored.
