Part 1 of the Ciudad Perdida Trek left off with hiking on the trail and Part 2 is more of the same. Hiking, swimming, cliff jumping - all of the fun things we did along the trail. The trail itself isn't that long, about 30 miles total, so when you spread that over a few days it's fairly easy breezy.
Can you believe it mom - cliff jumping. It only took me over a decade to do it again and we had some of the guys make sure the water was deep enough. It was a blast!
I have never seen leaves bigger.
This was our second camp - hammocks again and only about half a mile away from Ciudad Perdida. There were several different groups at this camp.
One of the best things about this trek is that we were able to swim every day. Sometimes it wasn't for very long, but it was always worth it. It's amazing how ice cold water feels to hot, sweaty, and tired muscles. I swear it made the trek so much better.
Just one more post to go for the Ciudad Perdida Trek so stay tuned.
Until next time,
