Ghost Stories, Masks, & Healthy Snacks

 
Hey everyone, Happy Halloween!!!
Yup, it's that time again to dress up, have fun, and scare those little ones. This year I decided to do masquerade themed makeup (my way), tell a few scary ghost stories and make some healthy Almond Pumpkin Pie Cake.
 
  Almond Pumpkin Pie Cake
½ c. Splenda brown sugar blend
1-4oz jar of baby food apple sauce
2 tsp ground cinnamon
1 ½ tsp pumpkin pie spice
½ tsp ground clove
¼ tsp nutmeg
1 tsp baking powder
¾ tsp baking soda
¼ tsp xanthan gum
½ tsp sea salt
2 tsp vanilla extract
4 large egg whites
1-15oz can of raw pumpkin
2 c. almond flour
2 scoops of Vanilla Whey Protein Powder
½ c. unsweetened almond milk

Directions:
1.) Combined Ingredients
2.) Pour batter into a 9x11 pan.
3.) Bake in oven for 35-40 min. at 350 degrees.*
*35min. = pumpkin pie texture / 40min. = cake-like consistency

 I know, a lot of ingredients, but so worth it and healthy... YES!
Different shades of purple was the main focal point of my makeup and I had so much fun doing it. Any chance I get to have a little fun in the makeup or clothes department, I'm all for it.
In my opinion, you are never too old to dress up. Never.
