Early to Bed, Early to Sunrise

The more I get into photography, the more I want to chase the light. Ya, know that golden light. That light that tells you to keep on waiting, it will only get better.
On this particular morning I knew I had to get up super early so I would have enough time to drive the canyon, hike to the spot I wanted to shoot at, and then set up and get ready to shoot. As I was parking at Guardsman's Pass, I knew I would have to hustle if I wanted to capture the changing light on my camera. I flew up the mountain to a ridge that overlooked Park City and parts of Big Cottonwood, got myself situated, and waited for the excitement begin. OK, well actually the excitement happened throughout the morning as the colors in the sky got better and better. The clouds really made everything beautiful. Thanks clouds.

I love being up at the crack of dawn, knowing almost everyone else is sleeping and I'm running on a ridge soaking in the beauty of my world. It's worth it. It's motivation. It's happy.

Until next time,
Happy Trekkin'.
