When mom and I were planning our trip, we bought Paris Passes before hand, which allowed us to see and get into almost all of the museums and attraction while saving a little money (never a bad thing). Included in this pass was a ride on Les Cars Rouges (red bus), which is a double-decker bus that takes you all around Paris and stops frequently at many hot spots in Paris. The buses ran every 15 minutes, so if you got off at one stop another bus would pick you up. This was called, hop-on hop-off (or as I called it, the HOHO). It was neat to get a different view of the city and see so much with just a hop on the bus.
Some favorite sites from the red bus were the Arc de Triomphe, the Pantheon, Musee de l'Ordre de la Liberation, the Eiffel Tower, the busy streets and cute neighborhoods, and all the amazing architecture. Despite the cold, rainy and overcast weather, it was still amazingly beautiful.
Until next time,
