{Paris} Jardin des Tuileries

Jardin des Tuileries, (one of the many gardens in Paris), is where you'll find Parisians getting their run on, children and adults alike riding the carousel and farris wheel, as well as a few sculptures that surround a large water filled basin. This was our (my mom and I) first night in Paris and despite our tiredness, mom suggested we walk through the park and hit up the farris wheel. I am so glad we did because we had such amazing views of the city lights and a fun ride to top it off. After we road the farris wheel, we grabbed our first crepe and I had my first taste of hot wine. Not bad for a chilly night. We made it back to our neighborhood (where we rented our apartment for the week) and popped into a small cafe, grabbed a bit and the largest vanilla macaroon I have ever seen. It was amazing.

Not a bad way to start out our adventure's in Paris.

Until next time,
Happy Trekkin'.
