Pocket Full Of Sunshine

One day after I broke my hand for the second time (go me), Heinz and I shuffled our way up to Davenport Hill, located in Little Cottonwood Canyon. We hiked up through Grizzly Gulch, which is a very popular area for skiing, snowshoeing, and hiking.
The thing thats special about Davenport Hill is that it has panoramic views of several major peaks.
On this particular day, the weather was a brewin' and the sky was a growin'.

The town of Alta in Little Cottonwood Canyon.

Sugarloaf Peak (left) and Mount Baldy (right)

Peaks from left-right: Wolverine, Devils Castle, Sugarloaf, Baldy, Hidden, American Fork Twins, Red Baldy, & the Pfeifferhorn.

Hey, I know that guy.

Mount Superior with a little weather creeping in.

I love having weather. It produces swirling clouds, dramatic sky's, and sometimes pockets of sunshine that hit the peaks just right.

From blue to grey sky's in a blink of an eye.

Mount Superior (the highest peak on the left) and Cardiac Ridge in the background.

A pocket full of sunshine just for us.

Hope your getting a little sunshine this week.

Until next time,
Happy Trekkin'.
