Mule Hollow Ridge

Warning, warning, no trail for this adventure, just ridge climbing, bushwhacking, and some pretty awesome views.

Okay, so now that's out of the way, Heinz and I did some ridge hiking and climbing in Big Cottonwood Canyon, near the Mule Hollow trail. We figured since it was a holiday weekend, we would go off trail to miss the crowds and find a little adventure.

Going up the ridge was pretty fun. There was a few sketchy area's and some bushwhacking, but the views were awesome and the weather was amazing.

Going down was a different story. Since this was a new to us adventure, we wanted to go down a different way. Our different way down consisted of very steep, loose rock, followed by bushwhacking central. Yeah, there's no photos to document this mess. We were mostly concerned about making it down in one peace. Thank goodness the way we went down actually got us down. It was a little slow moving, but we made it down safe and sound.

This was supposed to be a Memorial Day Post - look how behind I am. Oh, well.

Until next time,
Happy Trekkin'.
