Quakies and a Quote

"A few minutes ago every tree was excited, bowing to the roaring storm, waving, swirling, tossing their branches in glorious enthusiasm like worship. But though to the outer ear these trees are now silent, their songs never cease."

Just a couple shots of quaky trees that are on the back side of Snake Creek Pass. The back country is pretty dangerous right now, so finding the mellow slopes with trees is key.

This season has been pretty slow when it comes to snow. While I have been doing my snow dance and hoping for more snow, I have also been training for a 10 miler running race that I will do in April. Not all is lost, but I'd rather be shredding in the back country than running. Oh well, I'll take what I can get.

Hope you are finding some fun and motivation during the cold months.

Happy trekkin'.
