Birthday's, Birds, Frost, & Snow

HAPPY BIRTHDAY MOM!
Today is your birthday, we wish you the best.
We hope you will celebrate, but please get some rest.
So blow out your candles for a great year ahead.
You'll feel better in no time and be traveling instead.
We love you so much and wish you were here,
To celebrate your birthday with a little cheer.
Now put your feet up and relax all day long,
You're the birthday girl today, so do whatever you want.

We love you!

This week, on my trip up to Logan, everything was frozen and kind of sparkly looking. I got a few shots in the morning before all the fog and haze set in. It was only a chilly 16 degrees out, no biggie.

It's normal to watch your husband grab the camera, jump a fence that says no trespassing, bush whack through some cat tails, and casually stroll down a path to take a few so-so shots of some birds, right?.

After a very warm and disappointing winter, we finally got a skiff of snow.

These were all shot in the parking lot of where I work. A little snow can really make dead plants and trees a bit more pleasing.

Anyway, I hope everyone is able to spend a little time with loved one's and have a safe and happy holiday.

"Christmas is not a time or a season but a state of mind. To cherish peace and good will, to be plenteous in mercy, is to have the real spirit of Christmas." - Calvin Coolidge
