Key West: Part 2

Part of Duval Street & The Sky

Duval street is the "it" street of Key West. There are so many cute shops, historical buildings, street vendors and so much more. Heinz and I had a great time walking up and down Duval and really taking it all in.

I must say that I am a sucker for bright colors and Duval street has some really old houses and shops with so many colors. I loved it!

Cigars galore - not from Cuba - go figure.

A random alley way.

Old saloon turned restaurant.

This is a bar where there are so many dollar bills stapled to the walls.
Can I have a dollar?

I really like this downtown clock.

And yes, there were random roosters and chickens hanging on Duval street.

Ya know I'm a sucker for flowers and purple. Win, win!

I really like how these four palm trees were lined up.

I caught this guy checking me out from across the street. Ha.

But I had my eye on this looker.

I know, a random bench, but I love stuff that is pieced together like this.

This is really someones house. I just love those pillars.

Hey, more free roaming animals.

Nothing is significant about these homes, just loved the yellow and blue/green together and of course the white trim.

We saw a lot of this - Pay $2 to get your picture taken with the dog - on Duval street.

And you most likely will see people dressed up when hitting Duval street at night.

We walked all the way to the end of Duval street and took a dip in the ocean. It is nice to wear your swim suit when venturing out in Key West. It only takes about 10 minutes of movement before you are drenched from the humidity and if you walk long enough, you will run into the ocean.

Let's talk about the sky.

Heinz & I were so lucky to have so many beautiful sunrise's and sunsets. It's nice to have a little weather sometimes, it really makes for amazing clouds and sky.

This was from the roof of our hotel. We had an outside balcony that had stairs leading to the top. It was awesome.

This is looking down at Duval street from the highest building in Key West.

As you can see, the sky was amazing.

I can't wait for part 3 of Key West so stay tuned.
